What I'm Loving ... All New Kindle Fire HD 7"

I recently got given the All New Kindle Fire HD for my 21st birthday off my boyfriend. I haven't been able to put it down since! From checking Blog Lovin' to catching up on Nashville, I have been on this pretty much every spare minute I have. My phone is no longer glued to my hand instead my Kindle is. I didn't think I needed a tablet of any kind but oh how my views have now changed. I can do so much with this and to be honest the last thing I do on it is read books. I am much a more of a hard copy book kind of girl but I do have a few reads on here that are being saved for those days where a book isn't to hand. It charges fast and the battery lasts ages even when I am using it for 5 hours straight watching videos and tweeting on my days off from work (or in-between).

If you have been contemplating getting a Kindle or tablet I would definitely recommend this one. I purchased the Origami Case from Amazon here in the colour Orchid and you get loads of discounts because it is an Amazon device. I have also taken advantage of their Prime subscription, a little like Netflix but with the added bonus of a free book of your choice per month and next day delivery on certain items on the Amazon website. They have so many TV series and films that it is also perfect for people travelling as you can download them and watch them whenever you want to without an internet connection.

The case is magnetic and folds to either hold up the Kindle portrait or landscape and can also fold back so it is out of the way when you are holding it. It comes in many colours and I love the deep pink shade I got mine in (the colour isn't really showing well as the pictures were taken in artificial light but trust me you will not be disappointed, just look on the website too). This model doesn't have a camera so isn't the best for those of you who like to Skype but if you aren't fussed by that, like me, then this is the one for you.

Let me know if you have this or something else similar xx

What I'm Loving ... Gin-Gins!

(From left to right: Chewy Hot Coffee Gin-Gins, Soft Super Boost Gin-Gins and Hard Double Strength Gin Gins)

I have discovered the world of Gin-Gins! If you haven't heard of these before, which I hadn't, they are sweets or candy made with all natural ingredients and each have a percentage of fresh ginger in them. I bought the Hot Coffee flavour ones first then had to go back for more as soon as I tried one. They are made by a company called The Ginger People, who specialise is ginger products and are trying to promote the benefits of ginger. You can click on their website here. Ginger is so good for you and this is an easy way to include it in your diet. Some of the benefits they list on their website include; helping to burn fat, ease muscle pains, boosting immunity and as they come in handy sized boxes they are easy to take on holiday with you for those people who get travel sickness as ginger is a well known cure for nausea.

Each box contains individually wrapped sweets and depending on which flavour you have you will get different sized sweets. The Hot Coffee flavour is a chewy sweet with a slight gelatine texture and has Arabica and Robusta coffee in plus 10% fresh ginger giving a warm coffee explosion for your tastebuds (definitely recommended if you love coffee as much as I do). The Super Boost flavour are small soft candy pieces with 30% fresh ginger and are quite creamy in texture and taste but have no cream in. Finally, the Double Strength flavour is a small lozenge and has 16% fresh ginger in them. None of the flavours are overpowering or too much to handle  and they are all moreish. I could easily eat the whole box! None of the Gin-Gin flavours have any trans fats or animal products so they are perfect for Vegans and are also Gluten free

If you are in the UK you can purchase your Gin-Gins at Holland and Barrett here or if you are international you can visit The Ginger People's website and locate a store near you, I have put the link above. For those in the USA you can visit Abe's Market here and also explore the rest of the flavours The Ginger People offer.

Let me know what you think if you have ever tried these or are going to in the near future xx

Birthday Shopping Haul

So this week was my 21st birthday! Woop! My mum and sister took me to Birmingham for the weekend to do some shopping and eating etc. I thought I would share with you what I bought, there isn't a lot but I am sure I will go back again and do more shopping as this was my first time at the Bull Ring. So here is what I bought and where I got it from (top to bottom):

  • Moringa and Satsuma Body Spray from The Body Shop
  • PJ Set and Crop Lounge Top from Forever 21
  • Ring and Earrings from Accessorize
  • Naked3 Palette from Selfridges FINALLY!
The body sprays are amazing and this is the first time I have tried Body Shop ones - they also have a deal on at the minute where student's can get one of their loyalty cards for free. I love the cute coffee PJ's the top is a t-shirt that says "Nobody Understands Me Like Coffee Does" and it comes with shorts that have little coffee images on and the lounge top is a long sleeved crop top. I'm not really a jewellery wearer and have decided to try and get back into wearing bits and pieces so these are my two new items to get me going. And finally the Naked3 palette which I have been dying to get my hands on but waited for this shopping trip to do it. I love that it comes with the four different eye potion samples too, which I didn't know about until I opened it - soo excited to start wearing these eyeshadows!

Let me know if you have any of these items and what you think xx
